Hi, I’m Teresa, owner and graphic designer at Junior Olive Designs. I’m so glad you’re here!
Since 2009, I’ve built my career in the graphic design industry, from corporate to agency to independent business ownership. I began my career at Stanley Black & Decker, one of the largest power tool companies in the world. I advanced from an entry-level designer to managing a global creative team. During that time, I received multiple awards and even earned a U.S. Patent. That experience taught me the importance of brand consistency, structure, and strategy within a large organization.
I later expanded my expertise at Design Agencies in the Baltimore area, where I managed small design teams and embraced the fast-paced, idea-driven energy of agency life.
Today I am a business owner! At Junior Olive Designs, collaborating with clients such as Trane Technologies, and Merritt Properties, creating marketing materials, publications, and digital assets across industries like manufacturing, real estate, and other professional services.
I truly love what I do and the relationships I build through design. Whether you’re launching a new brand, refreshing your marketing materials, or looking for a creative partner to bring clarity and polish to your visuals, I’m eager to collaborate and help your vision come to life. Why Junior Olive?
Well… I’ve always loved olives. My grandmother used to gift me jars of olives for Christmas! My sister would joke because I ate so many that I’d turn into one! She even created my first screen name, juniorolive, and it stuck. When it came time to start my own design business, it felt only fitting to give it a name with a bit of heart, humor, and history.
